A Bit of History
Mark Kane is the founder and president of Phone Service USA, LLC since 2019. However, he’s had multiple businesses dating back to the 1980s.
Mark Kane started and ran a multi-million dollar computer mail-order company in Long Beach, California, and Lake Arrowhead, California, from 1984-1992. At its peak, the company had 35 employees.
Mark Kane took his experience and developed some solid managerial skills. Mark Kane managed 75 employees and other aspects of a 75,000 square foot athletic club in New Orleans, LA, from 1992-1996. He believed in an efficient business, which translated to implementing different procedures to help streamline the accounting, check-in, and payroll processes.
By 1996, he started getting more involved in tech. That year he created Micro PC, a computer wholesaling company in New Orleans. He started the business in the athletic club, but it became too busy to house his company. He left the athletic club to run his company in a separate facility.
He saw tremendous growth in 3 years. In 1996, he started from zero sales, and they soared to 4 million a year by 1999. In 1999, his daughter, unfortunately, had pneumonia three times. With the doctor’s recommendation, he moved somewhere dry and ended up in Las Vegas.
With Mark’s entrepreneurial mindset, he turned this trial of fire into triumph by opening Vegas Micro on Industrial Road (now known as Dean Martin Drive) and Post Road. The business did almost all wholesale. Within three years, it had tremendous growth getting 3 million sales a year.
In 2008, he moved the business to Mojave Road and sold Micro PC in New Orleans. In 2018, we moved to our current location on Patrick Lane.
Mark recognized a need for ole fashioned customer service in the computer service industry, so he started EMS Mobile Computer Service in 2005. It’s not just about money for Mark. He believes in being available for his clients and customers to ensure great service for each job.
In 2006, he started Vegas Telecom, which sells, installs, and services Nortel Telephone systems and sells VoIP Phone Service. In 2019, he started Phone Service USA to offer phone services all over the United States.
With almost four decades as a business owner, his brand, Phone Service USA, Mark has been at the helm for 2 years. His dedication will continue to flourish as he takes it to the next level to offer phone services all over the United States and Canada.
